Computer Vision for autonomous wind turbine blade inspections

Feb 14, 2018| Category: Technology|

Drones are used all over the world for various inspection tasks that would normally require a lot of effort and time to complete. Autonomous operations of these drones are key to deliver the same quaility and speed for the entire operation. To increase the performance of the autonomous inspection process for wind turbine inspections, I designed a computer vision algorithm for object detection of wind turbine blades using data from the on-board camera. For this assignment I programmed in python and C++ in a linux environment and worked with the ODROID, a Single Board Computer (SBC).

Some Of My Features Works

My latests works include some sample images and code that highlights my personal contribution to these projects I was involved in.
